Earlier, Alexandre VUITTON was a creative and successful Chef and Jerome TAILLARD a recognized and experienced Hotel General Manager. In 2021 the two 10 years pal’s decided to say “au revoir” to their international career and business suits and go for a praline adventure together!
JEROME ALEXANDRE first-ever recipe Le Chouchou : peanuts, sugar and pinch of salt. What could be easier? Famous last words… The simpler the ingredient list, the harder it can be to get just the right balance of texture, color and flavor. They found their cooking groove – 126 trials later! (Jerome was counting.)
The rest was history. The neighbors around cooking place come every day attracted by this hot caramel smell, Alexandre added it’s magic and managed to create 20 flavors. JEROME ALEXANDRE was born. The first Papaya Farm (ahem… laboratory) was opened. And they brought on a bunch of like-minded, pralines-loving troublemakers who could help them along the way. That’s us!
