I am getting nuts..!!!
Omigosh these are absolutely the best. My friend and I breezed through one 270g can in 24 hours. We could have gone through more but we didn't want to overdo, so it's a good thing it wasn't a larger can! Very versatile but so tasty just by themselves. I always like to buy Jerome Alexandre "Le Chouchou" because they are always top quality - no burnt or rotten peanuts hiding inside. Sweet or salty It is always the perfect balance, and they are roasted to perfection and not sticky caramel. Just writing this makes me want to open another can. These would be fun in gift baskets, for trips, and shhhh sneaking into the movies - Si Boi Ngoc - Happy Customer
JEROME ALEXANDRE first-ever recipe Le Chouchou : peanuts, sugar and pinch of salt. What could be easier? Famous last words… The simpler the ingredient list, the harder it can be to get just the right balance of texture, color and flavor. They found their cooking groove – 126 trials later! (Jerome was counting.)
The rest was history. The neighbors around cooking place come every day attracted by this hot caramel smell, Alexandre added it’s magic and managed to create 20 flavors. JEROME ALEXANDRE was born. The first Papaya Farm (ahem… laboratory) was opened. And they brought on a bunch of like-minded, pralines-loving troublemakers who could help them along the way. That’s us!
